Hello Members,
For the better part of 10 months the Due Diligence Committee, which consists of K4 members has been meeting monthly to discuss changes and improvements to our due diligence process. The culmination of that process is the introduction of a revised Keiretsu Forum Due Diligence Process Handbook.
We encourage all members to read and become familiar with the new due diligence process which is divided into 6 stages. Under optimal conditions, this new due diligence process would take 12-28 days to complete.
Note: The full document is rather long with many appendices. The process itself is described on pages 3-14. Any feedback on the handbook is welcome and appreciated.
Members can come up to speed and benefit quickly with the new process by attending the upcoming Investor Academy hosted by K4 members Girard Pessis and Craig Martin. We highly encourage all members to attend, as these efforts were made to benefit the entire community of Keiretsu Forum.
Due Diligence Investor Academy
Date: Thursday, March 11th
Location: Hanson Bridgett, 425 Market St, San Francisco
Time: 8:30am to 10:30am
Description: The course content is derived from the diligent efforts of Keiretsu Forum's Due Diligence committee, and the expertise of long time Keiretsu Forum members and due diligence leaders. We will be covering the various component parts of the process and examples from past due diligence processes, including:
- The role of the Due Diligence Leader and how to be effective
- The sub-roles of a strong Due Diligence Team
- The sub-sections recommended for an effective Due diligence process
- How individual participants can contribute to the process
- Past diligence efforts, and why they succeeded or failed. 天使投资美国
Note: This is the first of a series of Due Diligence Investor Academy's that will dive into deeper various parts of the process
